Swaddled and Ready for Bed

Swaddled and Ready for Bed

This set of twins (pictured here at 3 months old) slept swaddled and side-by-side like this for the first 9 or 10 months. This picture was taken simply to demonstrate how exactly they were positioned for bedtime - each in a sleep positioner which kept them from rolling onto each other and swaddled up tight which really helped them fall asleep and kept them from disturbing their twin with flailing arms or legs. There are cloth prefold diapers lying flat under them so spit-up or diaper leak messes could be easily removed. A Snug Tuck Pillow is seen on the right, which is a safety bedrail that runs along the length of the bed, keeping babies and toddler from rolling off.
